Beret Hair Cutters, a Hair Salon and Barber Shop combined, welcomed its first customers on 15^th December 2015 at 8am. The salon is located at Shop 9c within Arundel Plaza, 230/232 Napper Road, Arundel, QLD 4214 (view location map).

Beret Hair Cutters provide competitively priced high quality Male and Female haircuts. For the men, in addition to high quality Barber Shop cuts we also offer Cut-Throat Shaves and Camo Colour (to tastefully disguise those visible greys).

For the ladies we offer high quality cuts which can be combined with an optional wash and blow-dry; and for that all important occasion we also offer Colour Work.

At Beret Hair Cutters there are no appointments needed and all family members are welcome.

Plus, Beret Hair Salons offer special discounts for all Defence & Emergency Personnel including Police, SES, Fire Service and Military. Please present your VIP card (which can be downloaded on this website or collected from our premises) together with your ID to receive a student discount on any service (Not Valid Sundays or Public Holidays).

In addition to our great hairdressing services, and in keeping with our theme, we also retail a range of Military Memorabilia which can be purchased in-store, together with a wide range of the high quality Keune Design Range and Keune Care Line Range including, Colour, Care and Styling products that will help maintain that freshly styled look between visits.

Vass

Vass commenced his hairdressing career in 1986 and has gained a wealth of experience and skills from a variety of locations including the United Kingdom, Greece, Australia and within the Military. Working as a colour technician for Toni Guy in London during the early 90's ignited a passion for all elements of Hairdressing.

Vass’s skills grew rapidly and was in great demand for both his creativity and broad range of abilities. His days in the military service combined working with heavy artillery and being a respected military barber; giving him a unique skillset for those wanting a traditional Barber Shop experience; including Razor Cuts and Cut Throat Shaves.

In 2001 Vass opened up his first hair salon in Europe. Later in 2012 he launched a hair studio which combined his passion for creative hairdressing and photographic work with his wife Alda’s rich skills in Hair and Makeup creating a unique hair studio and model photography venue at their Kirra location.

Fast forward to late 2015 and Beret Hair Cutters was launched in Arundel.

Alda

Alda is a very experienced Professional Hair and Makeup artist who completed her formal hairdressing training in 2001. Following her training, she worked extensively in Europe. Having settled in Australia she enhanced her skills by training as a Makeup Artist and used these skills to great effect in their Kirra hairdressing and photographic studio.

Now with over 15 years’ experience in the hairdressing industry Alda’s skills are in demand by Men, Women and Children of all ages.
